Super useful approach. I spent a lot of time in China when WeChat was rising to dominance and the simplicity and comprehensive nature of what they did always struck me. I really liked your use of "primary and secondary" aspects in this. I can definitely think of a number of plays that come out as "local lords" or "embedded without a cause".
